Biografi

Stay Strong was founded in 2009, just before summer. At that time they had the name Unexpected and played covers only. The Valborg-gig in Sibbhult was officially Unexpecteds last gig when they burned the banner on the fire. We spent the whole summer 2010 on writing new songs and got a descent act on 30 minutes. Later on we came out and started to play at Barbackarock and Snapphanerock.
Around Christmas time in 2010 a lot happened to Stay Strong. The former singer and bassist was kicked in the middle of a studio session. They had to make some major changes in their music, and also find a new bassist. Henrik Håkansson joined as a bassist/screamer, and with him they finished their EP “The Strongest Survive”. Continued as before with this new setup.

In April 2011 they entered the studio once again, this time with another producer. They recorded two new songs which you can find in the Band Page.

In the 27th of August 2011 they had their first real Festival Gig at Helge Å Festivalen in Knislinge, Sweden. Which also was their first gig with the new bassit Kalle and where Henrik was only holding the mic.
